We’ll devote several lessons to writing good letters. It’s easy!
Let’s talk about first letters. The worst mistakes are:
1. Impersonal letter. Each gentleman should introduce himself and tell the woman about his life at least in a nutshell. Very often letters have no name, let alone age, occupation and the country of living. However, all these facts are very important for Russian ladies.
2. Standard letters. Letters starting with «Hi, there!» are good for an ash can only. Address your letters to each girl personally. We’ll give you a hint: just comment on some fact from her personal profile. For instance, if she’s got a child ask her about his/her name, interests and so on…
The worst letter pattern:
«Hi,
I’d like to correspond with you, so would you mind writing me a couple of lines?»
If you could only see a woman’s face when she is getting this letter!!!! Only disappointed ladies that get no letters at all or terribly want to move abroad can give you positive answers. Is it what you seek? If no, please improve your first letter!
You can add the following Russian phrases:
Privet! Hi! Hello!
Dorogaya ...! Dear … !
Vy ochen' krasivy. You are very beautiful.
Mne ochen' ponravilas vasha photographiya. I liked your photo very much.
Ya khotel by perepisyvat'sya s vami. I would like to correspond with you.
Dlya menya eto ochen' neobychny sposob znakomstva. For me it's very unusual way of meeting people. (I don't usually meet people in this way)
Ya mechtayu vstretit devyshku, s kotoroy ya mog by prozhit vsyu zhizn'. I dream to meet a girl to be together for the rest of our lives.
Ya mechtayu vstretit zhencshiny, chtoby razdelit s ney moyu zhizn'. I dream to meet a woman to share my life with.
Ya ischu devushku, kotoraya khochet lyubit i bit luybimoy. I am looking for a girl who wants to love and be loved.
Good luck!
