These are the facts of life. Although many more smart women prefer to be single, there are many smart women who would like to find their perfect match.
But if online dating and the bar scene is not for you, maybe this is. Andrea Groshong is taking a class through a singles club called Events and Adventures. She joined to make new friends and hopes it’s a way to kick start her love life.
Events and Adventures offers something fun to do every day. "I like the fact that everything's pretty active," she said. “Most of my friends are married and meeting new people in general and possibly meeting a potential mate, who knows?"
The club offers many adventures. There's at least one event every day. It's not a dating service, just a place to have fun.
"Truthfully, if they're just having fun and being themselves, often they're at their most attractive anyway, so they're able to attract people that see them at their best and they don't have to be nervous about it or feel like there's any pressure," said Events and Adventures spokesperson.
Andrea looks forward to making memories and hopes to start a relationship."It's what I expect to do, but if I don't, it's OK,’ she said. “I'll make new friends."
