In a news making breakthrough, a newly formed Perth company has developed a symbol just for the singles of the world interested in meeting other single people for dating.
The company, SHI Symbol International Pty Ltd comprising of a group of five friends, developed the symbol to be a simple, elegant and sophisticated way for singles worldwide to say they are:
Single Happy Interested. SINGLE: I am single, meaning I am not emotionally or physically involved with another person at this time. HAPPY: I am happy and content within myself and feel ready to meet like minded people. INTERESTED: I am interested
in at least saying Hello!. From there who knows?
The SHI Symbol allows singles to display they are single in their everyday activities, substantially increasing their chances of meeting other singles.
The SHI Symbol design is based on the linking of the male (Mars) and female (Venus) gender symbols. A SHI Symbol identifies the wearer as a single person who is ready, willing and interested in meeting someone.
The company has received an excellent response from Perth media and Perth singles since releasing the symbol concept, with many Perth singles now wearing the symbols. Symbols have also been sold to visiting singles from UK, USA and Scotland, who are now wearing them back at home.
