Life is not a romance novel. However, according to the Harlequin Romance Report 2007 two-thirds of men and 72 per cent of women want more lovey-dovey in their lives. Here's where else we run hot and heavy - or stone cold - in the romance department.

We're plugged into romance as half of men and one in three women have used the Internet to start or end a relationship.
- More than one in 10 have dumped someone by e-mail or text.
- More than half of men have sent a sexually explicit e-mail or text. Women were close behind at 47 per cent.
