From the creators of the widely known comic strip Girls and Sports (which appears on the Sports Page of The Argonaut each edition) comes a book that gives men who are single and ready to mingle a look into dating habits and more importantly, girls.
Opening Lines, Pinky Probes and L-Bombs, creates a hilarious and honest look at the struggles of single guys searching for women.
The book covers all aspects of dating starting with Getting the Night Started, Scouting the Prospects, First Dates, Going all the Way, The Serious Relationship and finishing with Getting out of the Game or more commonly known as getting married.
Written by Justin Borus and Andrew Feinstein, the book is ironic and true. The book has mastered the typical stereotypes that women and men portray while on the prowl.
They have created characters that I have seen and sadly have been in past experiences with, and if I can relate to some of these characters, anyone can.
I found this book more geared towards men. Now I don't mean it in a derogatory way. However, Borus and Feinstein cannot possibly know the secrets of a woman in the dating scene.
They can only gain their smorgasbord of knowledge from their experiences but where are the women authors in this research?
The whole book is easily readable, unlike many other dating books that flood the pages with words and resistible strategies. It is written much like their comic strip, with quirky little cartoon people and easily translatable phrases.
Those of you who aren't readers, i.e. hate reading, will love this book. Half way through the book you don't even realize that you're reading a book let alone gaining retainable information. Many of the pages just contain pictures of different types of daters.
Opening Lines, Pinky Probes, and L-Bombs is available to order for $14.95. To place an order call 1-800-784-9553.
