Alexander II is called Liberator Tzar, because in 1861 he issues a decree that abolishes serfdom. Over 22 million serfs are emancipated. He introduces jury to the court of law. During his reign Russia sells Alaska and Aleutian Islands to the USA, and defeats Turkey in yet another Russian-Turkish War. He dies on 1 March from wounds after terrorist attack, when terrorist Grinevitsky throws bomb at him.
