Dear Lemme -- I believe I have let myself be taken by a dating service. On July 12, I went to the office of Together at 105 Vieux Carre Drive. While there, I hesitantly signed up for dating services after receiving many personal assurances from my interviewer. So far, all I have received are two bogus phone numbers and lots of double talk on the phone. So far, I have given them $1,223.75 with three more payments of $323.75 due.
At this point, all I want is nothing more to do with this service or the people it claims to represent and a full refund of my money. Please help. This is a lot of money for me to spend for empty promises.

Dear Reader -- The dating service has agreed to work with our reader until he is satisfied and not to charge him the remaining balance, which totals nearly $1,000.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for bringing Mr. Durbin's concerns to our attention," said Andrea Cox, regional member-relations manager for Together. "I can assure you that we are a reputable service that has been in business for many, many years."
It appears that our reader's membership has gotten off to "a really rough start," said Cox, who acknowledged that this does happen on occasion.
"What we are willing to do as a gesture of good faith is to continue to match him, but we will release him from his outstanding membership balance. We hope that this is acceptable to Mr. Durbin and look forward to working with him in the future," she said.
