Single Parent Love Life an online dating community for single parents and the enlightened singles open to meeting them surveyed members to determine the most desirable benefits of single parenthood. Popular conceptions of single parents are changing and single parent families are the fastest growing household type in North America. The survey was designed to learn more about this important and growing market.

"We are learning more about single parents and their lives," said Bradley Moseley-Williams, vice president of love and romance for Single Parent Love Life Inc., "with a greater emphasis on how they perceive the benefits of their own situation. Our survey indicates that 39% of single parents report 'Having sex with someone new' as a strong benefit of their single parent status," he said.

Other survey results show that 26% of single moms and dads enjoy "better quality time with their children" and 14% enjoy "being able to date again." Only 7% of single parents considered "having more control of the TV remote control" as a benefit of single parenthood.
