Visas to Cyprus to be given in Mariupol, Ukraine

The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Cyprus is to be opened in Mariupol in the end of May. All official documents have already been signed by the Ministries of foreign affairs of both countries. The Consulate will be located in the building of the department of economy and law of the Mariupol state humanitarian university. The staff will consist of two officers that speak English and Greek languages. The Honorary Consulate in Mariupol will give visas to the citizens of Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhie and Dnepropetrovsk oblasts. The Head of the University, Konstantin Balabanov, was appointed to be the Honorary Consul of Cyprus in Mariupol. At present, the Consulate of the Republic of Cyprus works only in Kiev. Every month it gives from 1,5 to 3 thousand visas, depending on the season.
