The importance of little details
Last week we told you that one of our clients had been invited to the interview at the embassy to get the Alien Fiancée’s visa K-1 in the USA. Sad to say but she failed to get it because of a misprint in the dates. Unfortunately, such things happen. Here I’d like to pay your attention to the necessity of careful checking all the lines of your documents. I can give you a piece of advice:
- look for some Internet resources explaining the secrets of successful filling in all the forms like yours
- turn a lawyer dealing with international marriages
- make several copies of the each form. Fill one of them yourself and give others to your friends or relations. Compare the forms
- correct all the mistakes and show the new variant to the new person who could check everything again.
- show the final variant to a lawyer and only after that start filling in the original form
- carefully check the form of your girl friend yourself. Ask somebody else to do it again.
- keep in mind that writing dates is different in different countries. The Russian variant is DD/MM/YY. - pay attention to all the figures and check them several times (at least twice).It can take you a day or two day or even a week to make everything ready but it is certain to save several months in future that you’ll have to spend for correcting your mistakes (it is an average term that the embassy gives you to correct everything). It’s such a nuisance to wait for a long time after you’ve already come to have your interview because of a simple misprint! One more wedding: Alastair and Inna This week we have suddenly got two messages from our former clients – Alastair and Inna. They were sudden because we haven’t heard from them for a long time already. We just knew that they are a couple of people in love who met each other with our help. Alastair is writing: «I would like to thank you all for all you have done in the past. You have made two people very happy. I have been to Russia twice after Inna came to meet me in Paris and she came to the UK to visit my family. We have just had a lovely holiday in Cyprus in June. We are going to get married in August this year and I am setting up our home in the UK for her and her daughter».Inna is writing: «Yes, I’m very happy to be together with Al. We are like one and cannot live without each other. I wish everyone to have such a love. He is a wonderful man!» Al and Inna told us they were going to marry in August. We are really happy for them!
