Counting and smiling: summing up!
When summing up we feel kind magicians :) Indeed, we deal with the magic of love!
In fact, we juts go to work and work with our PCs in the office… However, very exciting things happen: People meet virtually, try to appeal to each other, feel shy and do extraordinary romantic things, fall in love and finally say, «Will you marry me?»
This is our job! :) We are very happy people!
Today’s morning we’ve started summing up and here are the results we have by the beginning of 2004:
Oh, by the way, these are only the results of our Kazan office and it is one of several offices in our structure.
We have new women-clients once in two-three days.
One of two women is 26-35 (50%)
One of three women is 36-45 (30%)
One of five women is 18-25 (20%)
70% of ladies have institute or university education, 30% have college education
50% don’t have children
43% have one child
7% have two children
Level of English:
- Some forgotten knowledge from school or university (1) – 38% women;
- Understands written text with help of dictionary (2) – 27% women;
- Understands written text with some help of dictionary, can write a little or speak on the phone a little (3) – 17% women;
- Understands written text, can write and speak on the phone (almost no communication barrier) (4) – 12% women and
- Fluent language ability (5) – only 6% of ladies.
So, here is the general portrait of a lady who joined the agency in 2003:
She is young (26-35 ëåò), has just finished her studies and started working. She has one kid or none and her English allows her to read and write with a dictionary.
I can tell you that in spite the fact that ladies are well educated and some of them have wonderful jobs, they are very family-oriented.
What about the ladies that joined our agency earlier?
We have helped about 50 couples to find each other for the year 2003. (That is one meeting per week). And don’t forget about the couples that met each other without our interference!
Four couples are waiting for a fiancée visa now. 14 couples have got married this year! It is 1-2 weddings per month.
It’s a very good result! Each month men from America, England, Italy, France, Holland and New Zealand told their Russian girls words of love and faithfulness and put rings on their fingers!
It’s only our office! We can be proud:).
Some statistics… I’ve recently seen some TV program about a certain marriage agency. They said they have 200 marriages a year. People that don’t know this job well can trust the data. However, any professional will tell you that in order to have one wedding in two days an agency should have decades of experience and many thousands women clients in their database. It takes people a year and a half since the moment of their meeting to get married. If they would make so many love stories with a happy end it would be the most successful company in the world and they would make huge sums of money :))
Unfortunately, it’s not completely true and our working experience is not so long. But I do wish them to achieve the success.
As for me, I wish myself more clients :)), because the information I have just given you about marriages is juts what we know for sure. Some couples start communicating on their own after some period of correspondence and telephone conversations. We don’t know how they are doing now. Perhaps, more weddings:).
Whatever, we have a good result, right?
