Story: I was in true.com and was contacted by some girl named toniceinlove? can't recall exactly. The profile said she was a nurse in South Africa and now working for a pharmacutical company. I asked her to write my e-mail and there was much confusion about her name, Rita? Kim, Nelly? She claimed Nelly, and I wired money to a Nelly Jake in Accra,Ghana. Part was claiming her computer was broken and needed repair to stay in touch, the other was for a passport. She even called me several times to cry for a brand new computer. Of course we were already "engaged". The ring and some cash sent snail mail supposedly never got there. Glad I figured it out before I sent some for visas and supposed past due internet bill. It even got down to crying for money for food as there was story of being sexually harrassed and not being paid at work and needing to quit. Since the pictures she sent have winter/fall foilage that doesn't exist in Ghana, my suspicion was arroused. I kept insisting she send "proof of life" pictures that confirm there is a white girl in Ghana that looks like her, something with the right context,like in front of a mud hut, not glamor shots. I have yet to get any. In doing a search on where she lived (lapaz,greater accra) for a landmark to compare in a photo, the search showed people from there in friendfinder.com dating site, so I went there just to see if she was also. Her picture was there with totally different story. Name--- Agorti. Same thing appears in adultfriendfinder.com Her claim is that her old friend Kim,that stole her boyfriend stole the picture, but also that it is just old and doesn't know why it is still there. A google search for Nelly Jake brings up Ghanaian Princess on myspace.com, but it has the registered trademark after it... however it is made on a keyboard. Google also brings up one in facebook.com from ghana,but who knows?
