Russian Structured Finance Investment Forum September 10-11, New York, NY
Organized by the Russian Wave Foundation, Inc., this Forum was born out of the need to support unprecedented activity of Russian companies in international financial markets. The Forum is especially timely, coming at a time of first securitization deals and international IPOs. It is held to give Russian business a global profile that would have been unheard of just a few short years ago. Exhibition: "Designing the Modern Utopia: Soviet Textiles from the Lloyd Cotsen Collection" July 26, 2006 - January 21, 2007, Boston, MA
This exhibit displays Soviet textiles and drawings from 1927-1933, a time when a small group of artists were designing clothing and household fabrics with symbols that represented Communist ideals, such as factories and tractors.
